Title:  Assistant Director, Housekeeping

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Housekeeping in supervising and coordinating the activities of the housekeeping, laundry, and florist operation in RWS
  • Participate in the annual budget exercise, hiring and deployment, expense control and formulation of strategic business plans
  • Drive consistent quality, service, safety, and controls in all aspects of the operation and ensure compliance with resort policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure maintenance of guest rooms and public spaces through maintenance programs and daily inspections
  • Implement measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene throughout the property
  • Analyze guest feedback and take appropriate actions to address concerns and complaints related to housekeeping services
  • Knowledgeable about cleaning technologies and able to explore, recommend and drive innovation projects to support RWS’ overall goals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development

Requirements

  • Possess a Degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar capacity with established large Hotels with more than 1,000 rooms or integrated resort experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly driven and motivated individual with a good knowledge and understanding of housekeeping operations.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, creative, resourceful, and self-motivated.
