Title: Assistant Engineer, Facilities Management & Engineering (Core)
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day facilities operation (24/7) for Casino, Convection Centres, Carparks, etc.
- Oversee and coordination of rectification, A&A, and maintenance works.
- Ensure all building defects, breakdowns, and failures are attended to expeditiously and recovery periods are minimal.
- Ensure vendors and contractors’ performances and works complies with company's quality standards and authorities’ codes.
- Check and ensure adequacy of spares and stocks for the repairs and maintenance function of the department.
- Liaise with appointed contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors for rectification, enhancement works, etc.
- Troubleshooting and rectification of electrical equipment, electrical fittings, electrical distribution boards.
- Compile, collate, and analyse operational data and reports for the task of continuous improvements.
- Technical support for building services.
- Propose and implementation of improvement works.
Job Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC or equivalent with minimum 5 years of facilities operational experience in Building Services and System.
- Proven experience in facility management.
- Strong building and MEP knowledge with hands-on experience.
- Possess leadership and people management skills to manage multiple disciplined teams.
- Analytical mind and the ability to find solutions to daily technical problems.
- Good communication skills; verbal and written.
- Able to work with Business Units to ensure 24/7 smooth operations.
- Able to remain flexible in organizing a fast-paced environment.
- Good safety mindset and good WSH behaviour.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills on facilities system.
- Broad based experience on computer systems, MSOffice suites including MSWord / Excel / PowerPoint and engineering drawings.
- Team player and ability to promote cross functional collaboration.
