Job Responsibilities

Overall Job Responsibilities
Involve in various digital transformation initiatives such as Robotic Process Automation and Data Analytics projects in Finance departments.


Process Automation

  • Engage internal stakeholders regularly in determining process automation opportunities, scopes and goals.
  • Plan, execute and deliver automation project according to milestones while satisfying time, cost, resources constraints using Agile approach.
  • Plan and execute user acceptance tests (UAT) and end-user training.
  • Create comprehensive documentation such as user guides and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Provide post-implementation troubleshooting support on the deliverables to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Share basic automation knowledge and troubleshooting techniques with finance users to cultivate citizen developer.

Data Analytics

  • Engage internal stakeholders regularly to identify opportunities - understand, shape, agree and suggest scalable data analytics solutions on their business pain points.
  • Incorporate descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics mindset into various finance functions,
  • Analyse extensive data from various systems to identify red flags, improve business efficiency and performance within departmental and professional standards.
  • Work with large and complex datasets using RWS data analytics platform and open-source data analytics tools.
  • Create insightful dashboards, visualization and reporting for presentation to the management.
  • Explore and apply statistical modelling and machine learning techniques to define and build data analytics models that support organizational objectives.
  • Review and create written documentation, process flowcharts, logs, and commented clean code to produce datasets that are used in analytics.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science or any equivalent discipline, preferably with accounting/finance qualifications and with coding skills.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in coding, machine learning programming, data analytics in large organization.
  • Proficient with prior working experience in Python, SQL and (or) RPA coding skills.
  • Experience with designing dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or similar data analytics software will have advantage.
  • Dedicated, self-motivated, independent, able to multi-task and meet tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proactive team player to refine and deliver automation / data analytics projects.
  • Positive working attitude and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Effective project management and communication skills to complete assigned projects.
