Title: Assistant Manager, Gaming Compliance
Job Responsibilities
- Review the Company’s existing compliance policies and procedures to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk of illegal, unethical or improper conduct, and propose appropriate control measures.
- Work with business units and compliance representatives to ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements (including licensing, reporting and internal controls matters), enhance processes and bridge compliance gaps with controls and preventive measures.
- To conduct compliance research (through credible sources, reports, data analytics, etc.) to identify insights/trends/areas of improvements/etc. Example, regarding regulations in other jurisdictions, evolving dynamics of the compliance landscape, trends of compliance activities, etc.
- To document and present the research findings/insights (and applicable initiatives if any) to senior management.
- To coordinate/deliver/implement compliance initiatives/projects.
- Establish/update the department's SOP/work-guides/templates/checklists etc.
- Assist with other administrative duties, ad-hoc tasks and/or assignments assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Professional Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Data Science, or related fields (e.g. Compliance/AML).
- Minimum 3 years of experience; preferably in compliance related roles of a regulated industry (e.g. casino, banks, etc.).
- Data science/data analytics skillsets will be advantageous.
- Coding skills/knowledge (e.g. Python) will be advantageous.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Strong adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
