Title: Assistant Manager, Sales Planning
Job Responsibilities
Sales Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct regular analysis of sales performance, focusing on key metrics such as revenue, occupancy, and market segmentation.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management and other departments to track performance against targets.
- Monitor key sales and revenue trends, and provide actionable insights for optimizing business performance.
Forecasting & Planning:
- Assist in the development of accurate revenue forecasts, budgets, and sales targets.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and MICE teams to ensure alignment of revenue targets and forecasts.
- Help develop sales strategies based on data-driven insights, identifying opportunities to improve performance across different market segments.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze competitor offerings and positioning, providing insights to inform pricing, sales strategies, and marketing efforts.
- Monitor industry developments to assess potential impacts on sales performance.
Data Management & Reporting Tools:
- Utilize business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) to build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of data used for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and MICE teams to understand business needs and align analytics efforts with overall business objectives.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing, promotions, and sales tactics.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Post-graduate qualifications in analytics, finance, or business management are a plus.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales planning, business analytics, or a related field, preferably within hospitality or tourism.
- Experience with integrated resorts, hotels, or large-scale attractions is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data modeling.
- Experience with Tableau for creating reports and dashboards is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with other business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) is a plus.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
- Experience with large datasets and complex analysis.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting data-driven insights.
