Title: Guest Experience Lead - Host Person (Fine Dining Restaurants)
Primary Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests: Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanour as they arrive at the F&B outlet.
- Handle Reservations: Manage reservation inquiries effectively and confirm reservations promptly.
- Update Reservations: Keep our reservation system updated with precise and current information.
- Manage Seating: Efficiently manage the seating chart to facilitate table rotation and optimize dining space usage.
- Provide Wait Times: Offer accurate wait times to guests and diligently monitor the waiting list.
- Assist Guests: Address guest inquiries and provide comprehensive information about our menu, specials, and promotions. Provide suggestions and recommendations to guests.
- Service Guests: Process guest food and beverage orders and present guest bills. Ensure guest meals are served promptly in accordance to their orders.
- Ensure Guest Satisfaction: Interact and engage with guests to create a memorable experience. Proactively address any concerns or special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate and ensure a seamless dining experience. Assist with the replenishment of stocks, polishing cutlery and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintain Atmosphere: Assist in maintaining a visually appealing and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; a diploma in any field is an advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a cheerful personality.
- Possess a well-groomed, clean, and professional appearance.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, computer systems, reservations, and POS systems.
- Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
