Title:  Intern, Accounting - Projects & Systems

Key Role & Responsibilities

Involve in various digital transformation initiatives such as Robotic Process Automation and Data Analytics projects in Finance departments.

Process Automation

• Assist in hands-on executing and delivering automation project according to milestones while satisfying time, cost, resources constraints using Agile approach.
• Involve in user acceptance tests (UAT) and end-user training.
• Create comprehensive documentation such as user guides and quality assurance guidelines.
• Provide post-implementation troubleshooting support on the deliverables to ensure minimal downtime.

Data Analytics

• Hands-on analysing extensive data from various systems to identify red flags, improve business efficiency and performance within departmental and professional standards.
• Able to work with large and complex datasets using RWS data analytics platform and open-source data analytics tools.
• Create insightful dashboards, visualization and reporting for presentation.
• Explore and share statistical modelling and machine learning techniques to build data analytics models if opportunity arises.
• Create written documentation and process flowcharts to produce datasets that are used in analytics.

Job Requirements 

• Pursuing a Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Accounting/finance qualifications or any equivalent discipline with programming skills and on track to graduate by 2026.
• Technically proficient and enthusiastic in Python, SQL and (or) RPA coding is required.
• Interest in designing dashboards using Tableau, Power BI or similar data analytics software is a plus point.
• Dedicated, self-motivated, independent, able to multi-task and meet tight timelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, proactive team player and positive working attitude to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
