Title: Manager, Safety & Emergency Planning
Job Responsibilities

Implement and maintain document control standards for Safety & Emergency Planning operational and supporting documentation. Monitor operational safety and compliance issues, ensuring that RWS operations meet relevant statutory requirements, industry standards, and the policies of Resorts World Sentosa.

Maintain a robust Incident Reporting System for RWS through a systematic process of incident reporting, investigation, recording, follow-ups, and implementation of improvements using established IT systems and work procedures. Perform statutory incident reporting to authorities as mandated by relevant laws, utilizing the established IR System to aid in the reduction and prevention of incidents within RWS.

Develop and implement Workplace Safety and Health programs, conduct safety inspections, and monitor Workplace Safety and Health statistics. Collaborate closely with RWS departments and the HR-WICA team to ensure timely reporting and recording of workplace safety incidents, contributing to the reduction and prevention of work injuries.

Develop fire safety initiatives and programs, including fire safety inspections, training, and promotion of fire safety within RWS. Provide fire safety consultation and advisories, and engage with fire authorities (SCDF) for joint inspections and exercises to reduce or eliminate fire occurrences.

Work closely with RWS departments to develop and implement emergency action plans. Schedule and conduct exercises to familiarize departments with these plans and validate their effectiveness.

Recommend solutions, design programs, and implement projects to improve safety and operational results property-wide by researching and analyzing new technology and industry standards related to safety and accessibility.

Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of operational experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications required:
- Certified Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
- Certified Fire Safety Manager with at least 3 years of practical experience.
- Experience in implementing a Safety Management System is an advantage.
