Title: Manager / Senior Manager, Projects
Job Responsibilities
- Support Project team in the development and management of construction works for RWS 2.0 Expansion.
- Coordinate with cross functional business units, project managers, consultants and monitor progress of work on site on a daily basis.
- Carry out pre-qualification and tender evaluation process to appoint suitable consultants, contractors or vendors for the projects.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies when required to ensure that projects comply with legal requirements.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of assigned new built development, and/or responsible section in a team and/or one or multiple enhancement project(s) of the Resort.
- Furnish Project Management support and technical support to Business Units on their proposed facilities upgrades/enhancement.
- To work with contract and costing team on contractual claims/ obligations/ variation orders.
- Work closely with Employer’s Representative to ensure project completion within the set budget, schedule and conformance with Contract Documents.
Manage and coordinate construction works while factoring in the following:
- Cost efficiency and timely delivery of projects.
- Quality delivery and completion of projects.
- Safety and environmental standards are adhered to.
- To minimize operational disruption/loss of income during the execution of projects
- To liaising with Business Units to operate the works at an optimum level
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil and Structural, Architectural or Building.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience working on large-scale development projects
- Meticulous, highly motivated and independent individual with excellent team spirit, communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and understanding of public/private sector procedures, including different roles of respective authorities, agencies and procurement requirements, will be advantageous.
- Experience in managing mega-scale project(s), will be advantageous.
- Resourceful and able to multi-task.
