Title:  Senior Executive/ Executive, Non-Gaming BU Accounting & Reporting

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring regular review and smooth and timely closing of accounts for the business units monthly, including identifying any unusual transactions and movements of account balances.
  • Working closely with shared service account team to ensure all transactions of the business units are properly and accurately accounted for.
  • Act as a Finance Business Partner to provide financial advice and support to our Business Units, including analysing the financial performance and providing financial support to business units for decision making.
  • Ensuring that balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled and closure of open items accurately and on a timely basis for review by auditor.
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the Business Units
  • Participate in the Annual Budgeting and Monthly Forecasting processes
  • Assist to drive process improvements and recommend internal controls to be put in place
  • Operational engagements and management of key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required, including adhoc projects

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or other professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Previous experience in a similar capacity in a large organization or in a voluminous hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience in delivering changes, system enhancements, business process improvements and managing a non-finance function will be an added advantage.
  • Strong initiative, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills with proven ability to lead, coach, train and motivate a large team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to multi-task, work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with the operations of standard accounting systems.
