Title:  Senior Manager, Business Planning (18-month Contract)

Job Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze cost activities, forecasting and budgeting to inform stakeholders including project financial performance on monthly/yearly basis.
  • Collaborate in the definition of standard and ad‐hoc Projects Work Breakdown Structure/Cost Breakdown Structure/Organization Breakdown Structure.
  • Verify cost allocation against work orders, correct coding of requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, estimates and variations.
  • Monitor and analyze variances, control financial aspect of the project ensuring best practices are consistently applied and high-quality information are gathered.
  • Knowledgeable about cost reports cost reports and gather back‐up documentation for customer’s invoicing.
  • Knowledgeable on the integration from Project Planning, Project execution and Financial Accounting.
  • Collaborate with internal team in the preparation of internal and external project reporting.
  • Understanding of the development of statistical and close‐out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data to all involved departments, for future proposals/contracts.
  • Review and where needed, provide advice on changes of cost management process to improve project cost control within the company.
  • Develop processes to automate data collection and reduce cost.
  • Perform other relevant tasks/duties assigned by manager.
  • Act as the Subject-Matter-Expert at defining solutions between Construction software and the ERP.
  • Experience in system implementation

Job Requirements

  • Level of financial education / good understanding of numbers.
  • Degree holder and/or experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of related working experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4HANA and Bentley software would be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel.
  • Possess strong analytical, communication and good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with Project Managers, Senior Management and peers.
  • Pro-active and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Team player who is hands-on, meticulous, willing to learn and work beyond job scope when necessary.
