Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all writing and editing including press releases, speeches, internal communications, online communications and other related documents
  • Responsible for fostering good media relations resulting in positive press coverage for the resort and its offerings
  • Manage agency contracts (specifically PR agency) and department budget planning/allocation
  • Responsible for working with PR agency and the resort’s various business units to generate publicity for the resort’s various attractions, hotel, F&B, MICE and other events etc
  • Develop corporate and crisis communication strategies and messaging to promote, protect and manage the company’s reputation. Anticipate potential issues and create communication plans for risk mitigation.
  • Monitoring and analysing media coverage and key industry developments, drawing insights to improve communications efforts and addressing any negative publicity.
  • Budget tracking, reporting and other administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or Mass Communications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in journalism or PR and communications Excellent writing and communications skills are crucial
  • Excellent media and publisher contacts
  • Familiarity with corporate governance and CSR communication strategies
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Meticulous and good with detail
