Title:  Senior Manager, Interior Designer

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be part of our RWS2.0 Transformation team. This team member will be part of the Design Management Team and will be focused on the review, feasibility and evaluation of landscape design proposals and implementation on site.

• Work across multiple hospitality typologies: Hotel, F&B, Retail, Gaming.
• Collaborate with Business Units and Project Implementation team in preparing design briefs, project scope and requirements.
• Conduct design research, feasibility studies and proposals.
• Be able to propose space planning and layout options quickly to optimize operational efficiency and guest experience.
• Provide support to the Project Implementation team in preparing RFPs, tender, and award recommendation.
• Review projects during construction stage to ensure design intent has remained consistent.
• Manage Design Consultants (Interior Design, FF&E, Lighting, Styling, Artwork, Graphics, Signage) from appointment to project completion.
• Responsible in preparing and managing review presentations with Business Units and the Leadership Team.
• Review design drawings and packages and coordinate with the Project Implementation team for project and design alignment.
• Manage the overall design process in alignment with the project timeline and cost.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or other Building/Design related field
• Minimum 10 years professional design experience with minimum 6 years in the hospitality industry
• Good understanding of design principles, space planning, materials, FFE and construction detailing
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain good working relationships across departments and teams.
• Highly adaptable and flexible in working within a fluid and dynamic organization.
• Prior experience in a developer or client setting is advantageous.
• Experience in gaming would be strongly preferred
• Strong background in high-end residential and hospitality projects is essential
• Understanding of costing, value management, procurement, local supplier contacts and lead-times is essential
• Proficient in PowerPoint
• Proficient in any design software such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp or similar.
