Title: Sustainability Intern
Job Responsibilities
- Enhancing an understanding of the local, regional, global context in which we operate. This could range from the competitive landscape of sustainable tourism, to gaps relative to peers and/or government regulations, to identifying opportunities the company could tap on. This is typically conducted through desktop research, and subsequent analysis
- Collation of company data for purposes of disclosure. This is typically accomplished through accessing given data sources, and conversations with internal stakeholders
- Content development for internal and external communications on our sustainability agenda. This might span from websites to emails to other documentation
- Other ad hoc duties/projects assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Environmental Management/Sustainability or equivalent
- Keen interest in sustainability
- At least in your second year of study
- Detail-oriented – able to sift through large volumes of content, identify the main points, and present your analysis and recommendations coherently and succinctly
- Able to speak and write well in English
- Able to commit at least 10 weeks consecutively on a full-time basis from Aug 2024. 3 months and above is preferred
